Trouble Shooting

When You Sense Something Is Wrong… Please refer to the following chart for step-by-step trouble-shooting instructions when you sense something has gone wrong with your tester.

Reset Signal

Is the reset input on the rear panel terminal in short-circuit status? Short-circuit status is also necessary for single unit use.

Power Supply

Has the power been turned on correctly? Please be sure to examine all fuses as well.

Air Pressure Source

Is the air pressure supply source connected correctly? Please be sure to check its stability.

Air Pressure Source

Is the air pressure supply source connected correctly? Please be sure to check its stability.

Close the Stop Valve on the rear of the panel prior to conducting tester assessment.

OK (Pass) evaluation

This implies that the problem is not with the tester. Please follow the steps listed below for further instructions.

Are the Jigs in satisfactory condition?

Please confirm the status of the jigs for any fractures or other deformations. Replace if necessary.

What is the status of the work?

Replace the work with a reliable master or another work piece and conduct testing.

OK (Pass) evaluation.
1. The material, form or processing is faulty.
2. Possible cause for instability: Temp. variation or temp change

NG (Fail) evaluation

Extend charge time.

Extend charge time to 3X the current setting.。

Decreased detection value
Possible cause: Temperature influence and deformation of the jigs or work parts within the test circuit

Unchanged detection value
Implies a leak in the jig, work or piping structure.

NG (Fail) evaluation.

The problem is within the tester. Asses the probable cause and contact your Fukuda agent for further maintenance details.

Extend charge time.

Extend charge time to 3X the current setting.

Decreased detection value

The tester's pneumatic parts are deteriorated. Pneumatic parts overhaul or replacement parts are necessary.

Unchanged detection value

Set the test pressure to 0 (zero) and conduct testing.

Use the regulator and conduct testing by setting the test pressure to 0 (zero).

OK (Pass) evaluation.
The tester's pneumatics are faulty
1. Sensor Overhaul
2. Clean or replace solenoid valve
3. Clean or replace internal piping

NG (Fail) evaluation
The tester's electrical system is faulty.
2. l Readjust or replace the circuit board

Please contact your FUKUDA agent for further details if you have any questions after examining the instructions shown above.
